UNDERSTANDING THE MAP
Red and Orange - HIGHER POTENTIAL DISEASE AREAS
Suggestion - Apply fungicides at 55 DSV intervals. Applying fungicides at 55/35 DSV intervals has demonstrated high levels of economic return in the red areas.
Yellow - MODERATE POTENTIAL DISEASE AREAS
Suggestion - Apply fungicides at 70 DSV intervals or less. Applying fungicides every 55 DSVs have also demonstrated high levels of economic return.
Green - LOWER POTENTIAL DISEASE AREAS
Suggestion - Make the first fungicide application when first spots appear in the area or 80 DSVs, which ever occurs first. Apply fungicides every 55 DSVs after the first application.
